From the Local organisation team for IAMCR-2013 Conference
Firstly, preparation work is currently under way on the programme and we plan to publish the details of when and where papers will be presented by mid-April. Here we express our thanks to the heads and other leaders of the Sections and Working Groups for all their work.
They have had an undertaken workload in recent weeks in reviewing and selecting papers and designing the draft programme of breakout sessions that lies at the heart of the IAMCR conference.
Please note that we are currently experiencing very high volumes of queries. We are endeavouring to answer every query as soon as possible but there may be some delays in our response to you.
Also please note the queries on Abstract, Full Paper upload and/or IAMCR-OCS [Open Conference System] should be sent to : IAMCR-OCS Support | firstname.lastname@example.org | or check the IAMCR-OCS website.
Thank you for your patience and understanding,
IAMCR 2013 Dublin Local Team
Abstract decisions: I don't know the fate of my abstract
Due to the unprecedented number of abstracts submitted for consideration by IAMCR's 31 sections and working groups for our 2013 conference, some sections required extra time to complete the review process and inform the authors of the final decision. By now, all decisions have been made and authors should have been notified about the fate of their proposals.

The overarching theme of the 2013 IAMCR conference is "Crises, 'Creative Destruction' and the Global Power and Communication Orders".
The conference theme centres round the concepts of crisis and "creative destruction", with connotations of historically-rare periods of intensified flux and challenge, accompanied by all-round or multi-dimensional processes of innovation.
